§3.12 Interface Observer

A class can implement the Observer interface when it wants to be informed if observable (I-§3.5) objects changes.

update

public abstract void update(Observable  o, Object  arg)

This method is called whenever the observed object is changed. An application calls an observable object's notifyObservers method (§3.5.8, §3.5.9) to have all the object's observers notified of the change.

Parameters:: o -the observable object.; arg -an argument passed to the notifyObservers method
